Nous y sommes enfin. Presque un an après la victoire de l’équipe chinoise des Invictus Gaming face à Fnatic, les championnats du monde de League of Legends font leur grand retour. La compétition la plus attendue par la communauté a commencé par la phase de draw des groupes du Play-In et du Main Event, qui a distribué les cartes. Le groupe de la mort est représenté par SKT T1, Fnatic et RNG. Une question repose sur toutes les lèvres : quelle équipe succédera à Invictus Gaming ?
Les fans européens ont préféré oublier cette finale éclair entre Fnatic et Invictus Gaming. L’espoir qu’avait fait naître Fnatic dans les coeurs s’était éteint aussi vite qu’il était apparu. Pour la première fois de l’histoire compétitive de League of Legends, la Chine remportait les Worlds.
Un an plus tard, les champions du monde de 2018 sont de retour mais ont perdu de leur superbe. Les triples champions du monde SKT T1 retrouvent leur terre sacrée, avec l’espoir de remettre la main sur le titre suprême. Tout comme RNG qui est passé à côté d’une année 2018 parfaite, et qui sont bien décidés à gagner leurs premiers championnats du monde de League of Legends.
G2 Esports, les champions du MSI 2019, sont eux-aussi prêts à en découdre pour faire de 2019 l’année de l’Europe.
